Our club was originally formed in 1974, by a group of local area beer can collectors, as a non for profit chapter of the Brewery Collectibles Club of America. Membership now primarily consists of craft beer enthusiasts that collect anything and everything beer related, with a few history nerds, and home brewers mixed in. We conduct a social gathering on the third Thursday of each month, at various locations, in and around Fort Wayne. Our meetings are very casual, and open to everyone. If you are interested in collecting, brewery history, or local craft beer, please fill free to contact us.
For the past 50 years, we have conducted an all volunteer, brewery collectibles, buy-sell-trade show. In the Convention Hall, you will see over 80+ dealer tables filled with rare and unique brewery advertisement pieces, from the pre-prohibition era, to the latest in craft beer collectibles.
If you collect beer cans, bottles, steins, labels, crown caps, or signage… why not connect with other local area collectors at one of our monthly chapter meetings or swap meets.
Check out our Events page often for updates about local area swap meets, shows, and auctions And contact us for more Three Rivers Chapter info.
Local can of the year Alps Brau. A limited release, event can, was produced for the 2020 Fort Wayne Brewery Collectibles show. Brewed and packaged by members of the BCCA / NABA Three Rivers Chapter, with awesome help from Mike Flaherty at GnomeTown Brewing. This is a nostalgic re-make of the Cool, Crisp, Clear, Bavarian Style “Alps Brau” that was first brewed in 1957 at the Centlivre Brewery, here in Fort Wayne. After the closing of Old Crown in 1973, Peter Hand Brewing of Chicago continued to brew Alps Brau until 1980.
